Birthday Card using Imagine More & Elegant Cake Art
Hi all thanks for taking the time to look at my blog. This is another birthday card, for my son this time who is going to be 20, can you believe it! Am I that old to have a twenty year old!! Guess so! Anyway I cut out my card blank using one of my templates. Will have to get organised and try and make a Gypsy file for these. The card was from The Paper Mill Shop and the frame cut and Owl cut were from "Imagine More" pages 13 & 6. This cart is so versatile, there seems to be something for everyone on there. They all go together well so its easy to mix and match too.
The Happy Birthday was from Elegant Cake Art and I just cut it without the shadow. This is another great cart for phrases especially. It also has some great borders as you would expect from Martha Stewart. The background is from First Edition "Spring Feast" 12x12 pad which has some gorgeous card in. Half double sided and half glittered then I used some glitter peel offs for borders and embelishments on the side panels and a smattering of stickles. The plain brown card is by Papermania. Thanks for looking.

Birthday Card using Nursery Tails, Enjoy the Season & Elegant Cake Art
This is my busy card make time so I will be posting more than a few times this month and the next probably. Its much more fun to make the cards than buy them I must admit. I originally started making my own cards as I could never find any I liked. I used to like the pictures but not the verse or the verse and not the picture. I also thought it would save me money but dont think thats true as I have enough supplies here to fill a card shop!!!
The main image is from Enjoy the Season cut at about 4 inches. Mounted on a label from Art Philosophy cut at 4.5 inches.
Phrase is from Elegant Cake art cut at 2 inches with the shadow.
Pictures either side are from Nursery Tails cut at about 3 inches.
Gold Stickles used extensively although they don't show up much in the photo. Paper is from M&Company Ancestry .com Pad, and is framed with some gold peel offs.
Card for the base is from Paper Mill Shop.
Thanks to everyone that has commented on my previous posts, it is much appreciated. You are all very kind. Thanks for looking.

Wedding card using Elegant cake art & Cricut Sampler
This is the card I actually sent to my friends Dad. They got married Friday. So hope all went as planned and a nice day was had by all. The Word Joy was cut on my Create at FTP, the flower was also cut out at FTP on my Create on a 6x6 size paper along with the base and shadow, fitted on using foam pads and edges inked using Shabby Pink ColorBox pigment cat's eyes ink. Then a few pearls added to the sentiment. The papers were Card base from The Paper Mill Shop, Papermania brown for the base, and Lidls for the Pink paper, Pearls also by Dovecraft. The flowers were cut from a lovely piece of 12 x 12 paper which I cant remember the name of the stack. Will put that detail in when I find it!! Hope everyone is having a nice day. Thanks for looking.

Now for something totally different but still using the Cricut. :)
Now don't get worried or anything as I haven't gone out and bought the Cricut Cake but just got thinking what I could do with the machines I have got.
I do like cupcakes in moderation of course, well!! Anyway I make them now and then and have tried icing them. Last time I made some I bought some rice paper but never used it but then this time I got to thinking maybe it would go in my cricut. So using my Create I cut out a few shapes using my Elegant cake cartridge and this is how they turned out. I cut the letters at 10cms and then coloured them with food colouring.
Thanks for looking. xxSusan
